DJT
Guidelines for this thread In this thread post match updates on all Canadians abroad for November 25 - December 1, 2011. If you find updates posted in some other thread or on the other Voyageurs forum then post them here as well, but be sure to credit the original poster. If there is news that is particularly significant (eg. someone scores a big goal, someone gets injured, etc.) then feel free to begin a new thread on that topic in order to draw greater attention or start a discussion, but also post that news here. Some comments on news posted in this thread are okay, but let's not let this thread go off into a long discussion. If the news already appears in another thread (as per the previous bullet) then post your comments in that other thread, otherwise if you want to say something significant or if it is likely to generate replies then begin a new thread. Guest Ed
Note that de Jong is still out injured, Friend missed last start and will miss tomorrow's game as he is also out injured. I believe that REB will not have clearance to play in the B2 until after the Christmas break.
nolando
Alex Marello rode the pine for the 12th time this season as Veendam narrowly lost to Volendam 3-2. Poor guy has only seen 8 minutes this season for the Dutch club currently second from bottom in the Eerste Division.
tarnado1555362291
Australia Brisbane Roar 4 - 0 Perth Glory Brisbane make it 36 unbeaten. Issey Nakajima-Farran started on the right and SCORED in the 34th minute then again in the 41st!. Issey was Man of the Match. Japan FC Tokyo 1 - 0 Chiba (Lam)
Guest ShWag
http://www.stuff.co.nz/sport/football/6042635/Brisbane-Roar-on-as-they-destroy-Perth The Canadian international has struggled in front of goal this season but Nakajima-Farran had a second for the half when he made the most of a fortunate deflection off a Ivan Franjic cross in the 41st minute. Nakajima-Farran's best game for Brisbane couldn't have been better timed as he was set to return to the bench when playmaker Mitch Nichols returns from Olyroos duty next week. He now has a strong case to stay on the right wing and Broich to remain alongside Nichols in the central midfield.
Guest Brethers
Jackson starting for Norwich at home to QPR! Could quite possibly get a goal here
Guest ShWag
Welcome change for Haber - he's on in the 9th minute for St. Johnstone instead of his usually late-game clean-up duty. Not sure if due to injury or what. Great opportunity for him to put one in the back of the net and gain some confidence. (And as I write this post I see that he has indeed SCORED in first half injury time. Congrats Marcus! Can't wait to see the highlight!)
Obinna
is there a feed for this game? (norwich) http://chanfeed.com/12272/watch-norwich-vs-qpr found one

Standard
David Edgar just scored for Burnley! Header from 6 yards, losing 2-1.
Standard
Edgars got another! 2-2 and his second of the match! Apparently this was a nice goal, especially for a CB!

Standard
Burnley were 2-0 down, Edgar scores twice to tie the game at 2-2 before Jay Rodriguez snatched a winner for Burnely. Great game
TFCRegina
3-2 final for Burnley, into 16th place and David Edgar is their saviour really. Rodriguez scored the 3rd, not Edgar
Guest ShWag
Wow, what a day for Edgar, sounds like a great game. Any idea how his goals were scored (headed in or taking a thundering free kick would be my first guesses)? Great weekend for our boys all around -- and Simpson, Klukowski and Occean haven't even played yet! Haber scores, Issey scores two, Jackson starts, Edgar scores two . . . who says Canadians can't put the ball in the net? Oh wait, that's only for our national team . . . Grizzly
Borjan is playing for Sivaspor against 3rd place Galatasaray. 0-0 early in first half. Sivaspor is under pressure from Gala so Milan has already had to make a couple of saves. Standard
First was a header from 6 yards out, and the other I'm not too sure about but they said it was a very nice finish. (Not a header or freekick.)
tarnado1555362291
Turkey Milan Borjan starting for Sivasspor away to Galatasaray. 0:0 in the first half. http://www.ilemi.me/35442/1/Watch-Galatasaray-vs-Sivasspor/
Standard
. Rodriguez scored the 3rd, not Edgar Yeah, I said that
Grizzly
Galatasaray score right at the end of the half. Sivaspor player heads the ball unluckily in box and bounces on to Galatasaray player who is alone in front of Milan. Not much Milan could do on that.
