cdr9999
I have tried to wade through the varied threads here on the new(possible) Ontario D3 league-that leads me to these few questions 1-Where does it stand now--is it a done deal for 2012 that there will be a D3 pro league other than CSL in Ontario? 2-What do these teams in the league have to support other than there pro team-IE:reserve team? youth teams? etc 3-What are the odds or actual logistical possibilty that a team from the USA could join that new league (would the Canadian soccer orgibizations allow it)?? ThiKu
Why not just post this as the latest post in the thread already existing? Can't see CSA denying American teams joining based on historical evidence...
BringBackTheBlizzard
The obvious precedent is the PCSL but one difference would be that it's officially amateur. Think a bit of googling would quickly reveal that there was at least one Buffalo team in the NSL back in the 70s but I think that an attempt to get a team from that part of western NY state into the present day CSL didn't get anywhere a few years ago. That might be an angle that's worth checking into and the search function on this forum might be worth a try.
