Olivier Occean scores for Greuther Furth in 90th minute to salvage a 2-2 tie with St. Pauli in Bundesliga 2.

Issey Nakajima-Farran comes on in 64th minute as Brisbane ties Melbourne Victory 2-2, first points dropped this season.

Tosaint Ricketts starts and goes 67 as Timisoara Politehnica defeat Arges Pitesti 3-0, sounds like Ricketts assisted on the second goal. Early still but very much looks like Timisoara will be back up in first flight next season, as top two teams in each division of Liga II get promoted.

Actually - on further research - Ricketts apparently scored the second goal. This is what comes of reading Romanian match reports and not speaking any Romanian.

Borjan gets the clean sheet as Sivasspor down league leaders Fenerbache 2-0!

Here is an extended video highlights of the game. Cool to see Milan starting opposite of Turkish national keeper Volkan. This was Fenerbahce's first loss of the season but they seemed to have played very poorly given that Volkan figures in the highlights much more than Borjan. Still he made a couple of nice saves and around the 11th minute of the video he makes a save and then quickly kicks the ball down field and a nails a breakout pass to one of his strikers who is unfortunately called offside (not sure that he was, it is very close). With even Lars being a pretty poor ball distributer this could be a useful skill for us in the future.

Also with the victory today, Manisaspor has moved into 2nd place in the league 3 points behind Fenerbahce although there are a few teams one point behind them with a game in hand.

Hard to believe that's the Turkish national team keeper there, two goals from bad angles and there would have been a 3rd if not for a goal line clearance. Milan looked good when called upon.. I was expecting him to have stood on his head and Sivas to score 2 off the break but it seems Milan's team controlled the match.

Bernier played 90 as Lyngby lose away 3-0 to FC Kopenhagen. They sit in 2nd last spot which is a relagation spot though are not that far off the team above them.

Here are the highlights from yesterday's Manisaspor 1-0 victory over Anatalyspor. The winning goal was scored just after Simpson subbed off. However, he scored earlier (1st minute of video) and it looks to have been incorrectly ruled offside (on the replay from the side of the play). The results today drop Manisaspor from 2nd to 5th place but they have the same points as the 3rd and 4th team but poorer goal differential.

There is a Canadian goal if I've ever seen one :> Congrats to Andre and to his family. What a brilliant moment and it's fair payoff for a lot of hardwork and determination, both on that play and over the past few years in MLS. And at least now he wouldn't have to worry about the final vs WCQ.

I already edited my original post but just wanted to reiterate: Ricketts scored (not assisted on) the second goal for Politehnica Timisoara in 3-0 victory over Arges Pitesti on Saturday. Now 3 goals in 7 matches from Tosaint; sounds like he is playing as a midfielder there.
