Issey comes on in 56th minute, assists one and then scores in 80th as Brisbane romp to a 7-1 destruction of Adelaide to remain perfect on the season. One thing clear despite his early season accolades--as the best team in Australia there is enough talent in Brisbane that his minutes will have to be constantly earned week-to-week.

Unless he decides to suit up for Canada I will continue to wish for his career to fail.

I see where you're coming from and everything, but he hasn't declined us or chosen another country so until then I'm looking out for him

In England:

Jackson goes on in 75th minute for Norwich down 3-1 to Hoilett's Blackburn, game ends in a 3-3 draw. Great swing for Jacko even if he didn't figure in scoring. As previously mentioned, Hoilett scored in first half injury time. When was the last time two Canadians saw the pitch against each other in the Premier League?

Edgar goes 90 for Burnley in Championship as they defeat Blackpool 3-1.

Peters goes 90 for Bournemouth as they defeat Hume's PNE in League 1 (Hume out with injury).

Haber goes on in 85th minute for St. Johnstone as they lose 1-0 to St. Mirren in Scottish Premier League.

In Veikkausliiga (Finland):

Bellisomo and Trafford both go full 90 for Mariehamn as they tie Honka 1-1.

Riley O'Neill goes 90 and scores in 38th minute (6th goal of season) for MYPA as they defeat Jaro 4-2.

Frank Jonke goes on in 82nd minute as Inter Turku beat JJK 2-1.

Tomer Chencinski goes 90 in net for VOS as they defeat ROPS 2-1.

In Eliteserien (Sweden):

Pozniak goes 90 for Haugesund as they tie Tromso 1-1.

Jacko on the bench, Hoilett is starting for Blackburn. He just scored an absolute dreamboat of a goal

Junior was all over this match. He scored a cracking goal to make it 1-0 to Blackburn. He then gave away a silly free kick (that should have gotten him booked) that lead indirectly to Norwich's equaliser. He also skinned his man, winning the freekick that lead to Blackburn's 3rd. He was my MOTM, narrowly edging out his teammate, Rochina.

Jackson didn't get much time on the pitch but still managed a couple of chances. He put a difficult volley wide and was just beaten to the ball by the defender on a cut back. He had an open goal had the ball made it through.

TV picked up a shot of Junior running back onto the pitch for the 2nd half and high-fiving Simeon, who was coming off after having warmed up on the pitch with the rest of the Norwich subs. It seemed that they were quite familiar. Hopefully the subtle pressures from his mates in the Canadian set-up will win Junior over soon.

I just finished watching the re broadcast of the Norwich-Blackburn match and agree with SthMelbRed, I didn't catch the high 5 with Jackson though! He's exactly the kind of player we could really use in the lineup and the goal today reinforces that, imagine if we had that edge of the box threat against PR for example, it would make teams think twice about bunkering! Hopefully he joins us by next round or there could be very little point if we don't make the hex which I feel will be tough enough anyway!

have junior and jackson ever played together?.....how would they know each other.

that is very encouraging that they know each other and that junior feels a kinship with canadian players....unlikely he high fives any jamaicans.

Well, except for Jackson haha. But yeah, hopefully he'll be in a squad of ours soon. He's just quality, pure and simple

Game ends 3-1 for Besiktas. Borjan could not be faulted on any of the three Besiktas goals, one of which was a penalty. The game was 1-1 until the penalty which also sent off the Sivaspor defender guilty of the foul.

word on the fan sites is that edgar had his best game as claret....but then gave the ball away at 93 minutes to lose the clean sheet....was man of the match before that seems to be the consensus.

3-1 win.

the burnley fans seem to be warming up to him with his recent run of games.

I'm so happy to see him get a good look finally after not being selected much for a couple of years! I've stated before, this can only be good for his career and for Canada!

Monday - Olivier Occean scores again for Greuther Furth (his 7th in 13 matches) in 84th minute as they go down 3-1 to Eintracht Braunschweig (the team REB is trialling with) in Bundesliga 2.

(My bad - already mentioned in Canucks in Germany thread by Loyola - he's even got the highlight)
