canucklefan
http://www.conmebol.com/pages/estadisticas_eliminatoria_brasil_2014.html# This time there seem to be more parity than the last WCQ. I know it's just the beginning but 7 nations out of 9 have 4 and 3 pts. This tournament is going to be fun to follow. Tonight, the most interesting result is Venezuela 1 - nil victory against Argentina. Venezuela had never beaten Argentina in its history, not only that, they hadn't never managed even a draw against. amacpher
^ And there was plenty of parity in the 2010 CONMEBOL qualifying tournament. Anyway, Argentina continues to leave people scratching their heads. They draw 1-1 at home against Bolivia. Argentina struggling big time with only 4 points from 3 matches now (which doesn't sound THAT bad, but they've had what was supposed to be a relatively easy set of games so far). amacpher
No surprises yesterday. Argentina were very lucky to win though and are now in second place. Hugo Chavez right on their tails in 3rd.
