Redcoatsforever
Boo! It should be 8-0. HART OUT!!! Yeah! Hart has no strategy! New banner: "Break the Hart"!
jrue17
It sounds like it's a similar game to the one we played against them at home. The only difference is that we are finishing our chances. BTW, while I enjoy the result I won't read too much in term of player performances against such weak opposition. Why does there always have to be a negative quote thrown in every now and then..... lets just enjoy tonight, analyse tomorrow!
loyola
As much as I understand the forced decision to not broadcast this match, it would have been nice to watch a proper Canadian thrashing. If we are lucky you might see one on tuesday night. I expect a 5-0 win over PR. Now they are saying OO only scored one.

Cheeta
Glad for the audio, tip of the hat towards all the Usual Suspects for improving the lot of us poor Vs on this momentous occasion. Looking forward to seeing the highlights on SportsNet.

munseahawk
Yeah - kudos to those responsible for the audio feed. Nice to listen to our biggest victory ever. Agreed. I was happy to hear there was an audio feed, but I have one piece of feedback. Noise cancelling mics. I found it very heard to focus on the game with all the wind generating background noise. Tuscan
You know, the wind did cause issues occasionally, but I thought the background noise of the crowd added to the broadcast, made it feel live and alive at the same time. Really excellent job by Max and Gavin as well. Perhaps TSN will catch on that these two gotz da mad skillz and will invite them on when the Nats are finally picked up by The (popular) Sports Network. Forgot to mention, mad props to Max and Gavin for the work they've done setting up the audio broadcast! It was a pleasure to listen to and was the best audio I've heard yet for a match. A shame it couldn't be synched with full match video to make a sweet recorded video of the game.
ThiKu
Huge thanks for the audio feed - especially under the conditions. No complaints whatsoever here. This really tops off a week where I laid on the couch sniffing and sneezing! Very happy V. SO.......how do we score 7 but none from DeRo or Simpson? Lord Bob
I thought Gavin did exceptionally and Max did very well considering this was probably his first time doing anything like this; I certainly always knew what the run of play was which is more than I can say for some Sportsnet commentators. Macksam
Maybe they have to earn their playing time with the team? Personally, I like it. If they go uncapped and then screw off to another team, then **** 'em. This method clearly hasn't worked for us so far. We have to cap tie whenever possible in my opinion. Lord Bob
So, obviously a 7-0 win is a record for the Canadian men's national team. But they have a long way to go to catch the women's record: they won a game 21-0 back in 1998. Oh, and I see that 21-0 win came against Puerto Rico in Etobicoke, Ontario. Why, how convenient. That's just gross. At that point I think I'd actually be annoyed at the guys for running it up so harshly, unless we were basically playing our U20s and U17s combined and were doing this. Lord Bob
Come on, Tuscan. Silvana Burtini scored eight goals in that match. Imagine seeing, like, Olivier Occean explode for eight on Puerto Rico Tuesday. You'd be cheering, admit it.
