Hope we're not still going with this strategy come Panama and Honduras. I'd rather we play loose and creative than to stick to a formation that doesn't suit our mixture of talent. canucklefan
Maybe they have to earn their playing time with the team? Personally, I like it. If they go uncapped and then screw off to another team, then **** 'em. To earn it =/= to cap-tie.
Guest uno
Oh, well, still a lot of work to do for Joseph to make national team appearance, but that's what he's good at. Congrats to Morgan
El Hombre
I don't agree. We are Canada and we already lost a lot of talented players in the past. This kind of mentally made us lose some players in the past. No it didn't. At least, not with any players that mattered. All the players that have left Canada that could have made a difference (**********, Begovic, JDG2 etc.) had no desire to play for Canada or jumped at the first chance at selling their soul for glory. There is very little we can do to stop that. You can rail against the CSA or whatever authority you want, but the fact is that for those players there's nothing you can do from preventing them from selling out. So, if Morgan (well, not him anymore now that he's capped) or Di Chiara had any inclination to play elsewhere, they wouldn't have accepted the call. Anytime you come into a team, you have to earn your playing time.

Keegan
If Johnson has an injury I wouldn't be surprised to see Di Chiara start vs. PR since Dunfield has basically played all match

tyler453
why not cap di chiara as well? All subs are used. I'm pretty sure he'll get his chance in Toronto on Tuesday.
Mimglow
why not cap di chiara as well? It's possible that was the plan, but taking Johnson off early (precautionary) may have thrown a wrench into that plan.
Guest uno
If Johnson has an injury I wouldn't be surprised to see Di Chiara start vs. PR since Dunfield has basically played all match I wouldn't count on JDC starting next game. PR is stronger than St.Lucia I suppose. So until there's no confidence in win over PR.. Canada will play the best squad There's Dunfield to start next game
Mimglow
Referees should not let the score affect their calls. Sounds like two clear penalties ignored.
James Grossi
With the match at home, I'd be surprised if he doesn't get a run out, maybe even the whole second half depending on how it goes.

loyola
7 - 0. Hume again. Lovely evening, don't you think? It sounds like it's a similar game to the one we played against them at home. The only difference is that we are finishing our chances. BTW, while I enjoy the result I won't read too much in term of player performances against such weak opposition. Mimglow
As much as I understand the forced decision to not broadcast this match, it would have been nice to watch a proper Canadian thrashing.
