Roster speculation for Oct 7 and Oct 11 matches

It was about two weeks ahead of the last set of matches that word started to leak out from different European news and club sites, as well as players' twitter accounts, about who had been called.

Does anybody know of any confirmed call-ups yet?

Or, more in line with what we do best, is there interesting speculation about who will or will not be making the trip this time?

I'm curious if an additional midfielder will be called in with the injury to Atiba, as well as whether Olivier Occean would accept a call this time.

Occean accepted the call but got injured last time right? I'm sure he'd be considered for these 2 games.

I'd like to see Bernier back in the fold to fill in for Atiba on the roster. Maybe an up-and-coming youngster could sneak in there too like a Di Chiara, but I still think that we are at least 2 wins away before we start experimenting.

One of the hottest players in Europe is Randy Edwini-Bonsu. It is 2nd division in Finland but he has scored 15 goals in 17 games this season including 8 in his last 3 games. He's a striker but can also play the wing especially with his pace.

Exactly why he doesn't deserve the call. We have more viable options than a Finnish 2nd division player. Yes, 15 goals in 17 is not too bad and I think he could probably be playing Finnish first division, but that's besides the point of having better options.

REB needs to play at an higher level to get the call. We have a lot of attacking players playing at an higher level right now.

I think we'll see the same roster with maybe the addition of OO and De Jong.

Klukowski was injured in his latest match so that may put his spot in jeopardy. De Jong and OO are automatic if fit, same with Bernier.

Out: Bourgault, Peters, Klukowski/Jazic (if Kluk is injured he's out, if fit Jazic out), Haber, Hutchinson

In: Jakovic if fit, if not Straith (at least he's had some minutes), Ledgerwood (not a fan but Hart is), De Jong, OO, Bernier

Randy is a sweet player, and i have been watching him for the last 7-8 years. However he didn't play up to his potential in the last few games for U23 (but he scored beautiful goal against Chivas USA).

Not too bad??? It's excellent! I don't think he should get a call up but he should definately be on the radar

I hear Astone Morgan has been called up.

I like it but I wonder if Klukowski is still out injured or if someone is being shifted to right back? I don't think it would make sense to drop Jazic with the season he's having and after he was clearly better than Morgan on Saturday.

I believe Klukowski is injured. He was subbed out after 10 minutes last Tuesday.

I like calling up these young players, but it is still important we pick up 6 points in these games. Neither looked too threatening last time around, but Puerto Rico may try and bunker at BMO, which Canada historically not done well breaking down.

Maybe these young players would add some new fire to the team and really get us going. Who knows right?

I'm very excited to see DiChiara play and hopefully Ashtone Morgan is that is credible
