Grizzly
A lot of San Jose fans are calling for FY to be fired. On BigSoccer there is a thread about this: http://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1794584 as well as many similar comments on their FY thread: http://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?t=57023&page=70 Yallop seems to be totally living on his two titles he won with San Jose early in his coaching career but those seem now to have likely been due to a lot of luck. From his disastrous run as our national team coach to a mediocre year in LA to now 4 years of failure in San Jose he sure has not shown himself to be a particularly good coach. If I were a Caps fan I would be pretty worried because I suspect Bradley would be a strong candidate for San Jose were the job to become open. I also suspect Bobby would be very inclined to hire Yallop if he were free. Personally I would not want Yallop to be the coach of my team and I think Bradley would be the much better choice. Bradley would be sweet but Yallop would be a significant upgrade from what we have running our Canadian MLS teams right now.
Michael Crampton
A lot of San Jose fans are calling for FY to be fired. On BigSoccer there is a thread about this: From his disastrous run as our national team coach to a mediocre year in LA to now 4 years of failure in San Jose Relatively comfortable playoff place and an appearance in a Conference Final with a third year team is failure? He hasn't been particularly impressive and his teams haven't really gotten past mediocrity but "4 years of failure" is pure hyperbole.
