smartlikefox
Quick question. Attended the opener against TFC and we had a real issue with getting out on our phones (text or calls) to the point that we couldn't get ahold of our limo driver until about 45 minutes after the game. Is that still the case? Some buddies and I are sitting separately on Saturday so we want to be able to communicate after so we can meet back up. Appreciate the help! TheKottonmouthed1555362307
I have the same problem. Not sure if its the stadium, or I have thought a Bell conspiracy, I'm on a Rogers phone and it is like it is dead while in the the vicinity of Empire every game

Richard
I suspect it rather depends upon whereabouts inside the stadium you are. Since the place is built with quite dense steel scaffolding and aluminium it serves as a bit of a Faraday Cage but without a lid (i.e. screens out radio signals). This will definitely affect the transmission of cell phone radio waves. I too have had trouble on occasion and my Virgin Mobile phone uses the Bell network! The biggest difficulty for me though is being able to hear the other party when I make a voice call - too much noise in the stadium ;-)
