TFCRegina
Well, if there's no medal, it's not official. I'm sure we can convince Mont Pete to spend money on a plaque to award to them. Because we have no better places to spend our money, like player development, friendlies, coaches, etc. You know, he's bankrupting the organization and depriving it of the ability to award "Worst Team ever" plaques to the national teams. Redcoatsforever
I think we're all looking in the wrong direction, instead of focusing on all the progress of the reformers and professional clubs with academies and our awarding of the women's world cup, what we really ought to be doing is pinning a lack of funding on the association president. I feel we ought to change the things we can, like the value of a dollar and so on, rather than the unimportant stuff like player development and regular training programs for the national teams. I for one am going to slander Mont Pete on the internet, are you doing your part?

I want a copy of the medal that declares us the "official laughing stock of international soccer." There's probably a mountable certificate that goes with it, and maybe the team and individual photos you can put into a wall pennant? That would look sweet with my Towrads scarf. I saw a guy wearing a red and white shirt with a big lightning bolt in the middle while waiting for my bagel at Tim's today. I started laughing and people looked at me weird. But it was hilarious. Joe MacCarthy
Mont Pete, officially known as Mount Pierre Elliott Trudeau is 8,661 ft mountain located in the Premier Range of the Cariboo Mountains in the Interior of British Columbia. The name honours the fifteenth Prime Minister of Canada, Pierre Elliott Trudeau, who died in 2000. This formerly un-named peak was given the designation on June 10, 2006. Joe MacCarthy
The peak of Mont Pete, to some, resembles an uplifted middle finger emerging from a closed fist.
