Hassli: Goal of the Season?

As much as it stings to see that in a WCFC jersey, it was a brilliant goal. Here I was celebrating Alan Gordon's ET game-tieing strike, and the announcer was calling out for definite goal of the week winner. Unfortunatly, it paled in comparison to Hassli's.

Two very exciting games involving the Canadians teams (I was switching channels between those 2 games and I wasn't disapointed). Gordon goal was superb and the timing was great. Of course Hassli goal was something from another planet, just wow.

I was doing the same thing, but to make it all better, the yanks lost in Gold Cup play.

That was a sweet goal! Not only for the pure beauty of it but it's timing. The caps were unlucky to be down after defending well for 80 minutes. Were unlucky not to be up 2-0 if salinas was able to bury his chance. But Seattle did well to capitalize only to have Hassli brilliantly ruin it for them. Vancouver should have had all three points last night.

For all the Nolly haters, Cannon did well to hesitate on the tying goal and could have punched it out if not catch it.

I agree, I was screaming at the TV, after I saw Cannon freeze like a deer in headlights. But for a guy who's played 3 games since a broken ankle at 36 years of age, I think he still could be the number 1 guy. I say sign Hahnemann, he's free right now I'm pretty sure, and has stated he wants to be in the Cascadia.

But Cannon is making 200k, so not sure what we can do about that, we might be just stuck this way. I would rather see Nolly and his 64k sit on the bench than cannon's 200k.

"Whitecaps" is one word. There's no such thing as "WCFC". The acronym you are looking for is "VWFC".
