Kusch to the Corner
De Guzman apparently out injured for the US game. Not too upset considering he wouldn't have been in my starting XI, but hopefully its only this one game. What's wrong with him?
ken
^some sort of calf injury, reports said he practiced with the reserve players against what is thought to be the starting mid trio of Hutchinson, Dunfield and DeRo ( Simpson and Johnson on the wings and Ali up front). Razcle
Lost my tickets at home. Does anyone have extra tickets that are not coming to the game even. I just need a seat number and row so I can get ticketmaster to reprint them for me. Please help if you can.

Vancouver Fan
Trying not to get my hopes too high. Happy to see a Canada goal, especially for those who traveled down to support the team. A draw would be great tonight.
ken
The record against the US for the past 20 years is not that good, but in recent years they seem more competitive, maybe the fact that this is Canada's big rival (from our perspective if not the American's) has helped. Lars stood on his head in 2002 to keep the game close, the last gold cup, with the disallowed tying goal was much better. How we do tonight will shed some light on how much progress if any has been made in the turn to the newer generation. Realistically, playing the US in the US a tie would be a very good result, not scoring would be a failure, playing confident football without bunkering would be a sucess. Who the subs are and how they perform will be an interesting test, do we rely on the (reletively) older generation of Friend and Peters or do we look to Ricketts and JBB. Ricketts particularly interests me, is he a poacher in the sense that Gerba is only younger or is he something different.

Standard
Hmm dropped Onyewu, haven't seen much of Goodson to judge. Think Jackson/Gerba can get at Ream though.

jahmanagain
How was the flight into the island and did you fly Porter or AC?I like flying into the island - less crowded and in general I prefer smaller airports. It was not a commercial flight.
