According to the report on the TFC site, they are using this game and a couple others to prepare for the Copa America.

Hard Canadian
Hopefully Plata gets some playing time for the match in Toronto or against Greece in New York and does well. I've really liked this kid since the first time I seen him play. It would be nice to see him get the call for the upcoming Copa America in Argentina but that would mean he would be unavailible for TFC for up to 3 weeks. If he isn't selected for the Copa American tournament, I'm sure he will be used in the U20 World Cup in Columbia come July/August. Either way TFC will be missing his services for a few weeks this summer.
