munseahawk
Aldo de Nigris doesn't need anybody else in his club team. Slight typo there. de Nigris plays for CF Monterrey. That makes 4 from the CCL champs in the Mexican camp.

ThiKu
If Javier Hernandez isn't fatigued too much from EPL Mexico wins the tournament. Sorry, USA and Honduras do not have good enough DF's to handle him. Hell, if Chelsea can't.... Looking at that Honduras line-up, USA might be in tough to even reach the final if they meet Honduras at some point. Damn, that's a good team. Canada, to have a good tournament, needs to reach the semi's, but with USA in our group it's going to be VERY tough as we'll finish 2nd most likely and face a group winner in the first knockout. That being said, if we can finish above Costa Rica I think we're in good shape for the WCQ as the favourites of course are Mexico, Honduras, and USA. TripleA
Honduras are definitely strong at the back and in the middle but their forwards are still a question mark for me. Does anyone know anything about their forwards? From what I could find, Hernandez is 20 and scored 6 goals last year. Costly is 28, tall, and has about the same strike rate for Honduras as Gerba does for Canada. This year, for the third time in a row Bengston scored the most goals in the Honduran league with 13. Martinez is small, scored against us twice in the past, and has a decent strike rate.
CanadianSoccerFan
Costly is good. I've been impressed with him in the games I've seen him. Scored a ton of goals in qualifying and his injury was a big loss for Honduras at the world cup. I'm assuming David Suazo has retired from the team although he was never very committed to the team anyway from what honduran fans say. Probably not much of a loss since injuries and age have taken their toll. He's kind of like the Michael Owen of Inter Milan. Getting paid huge money to do nothing. Georgie Welcome of Monaco is a surprising omission.
Standard
No idea why Gerogie Welcome is isn't, I know Monaco have been awful but still. Yeah Costly is the only one I really know, decent player but hardly a deadly finisher.

JoshieScores
Wow I'm surprised about Welcome as well... I was in Honduras last month and he's considered an absolute legend, especially in the island of Roatan. He's the first ever islander to be part of Honduran senior national setup. Standard
Welcome didn't get a call-up because i guess he wanted to give the local strikers some playing time with La Seleccion. Jerry Bengtson just got crowned Goal Scoring Champ for the 3rd consecutive time. while Eddie Hernandez bagged 6 goals this Clausura and looked promising during the U-20 WCQ in Guatemala Due to someone on another forum. That means Honduras is missing two players they called.
Soju
Didn't know Walter Martinez was playing in China!?!!? I'm a Beijing Guo An season ticket holder, so get to see Martinez tearing around pretty often. He's a fan fave and standout midfielder - quick, wins balls, scraps, scores the odd goal - but that's against really weak competition. Our current midfield should contain him pretty easily, fingers crossed
