jpg75
The great thing about this years Gold Cup is that there's an international match window right as it starts. The first game against the States falls on the second leg of the window, so Lars should only miss 2, maybe 3 games max. depending on how far we go. JoshieScores
It quotes in the article (http://www.vif-fotball.no/article3152920.ece) Sport Director Truls Haakonsen who says: "Canada also has a training camp pre-tournament but has been more understanding to our (VIF) situation and has allowed Hirschfeld to play an away match against Sogndal on the 29th of May before joining the Canadian camp". Jamaican Intl Luton Shelton is leaving VIF after the May 22nd game versus Molde to join the Jamaican camp in Brasil. End result is that Lars is probably doubtful vs. Ecuador. I think that's a win win situation for Canada. We need Milan playing more matches with us and cap tie him for the Gold cup. Although Lars still has plenty of tank left in him, our GK future is with Milan now.
Kusch to the Corner
I read in another post that a large provisional roster (something like 30 players) had to be submitted well in advance of the tournament. Perhaps this is that roster?
RS
The CSA is announcing the roster on Monday, as is the USSF with the American roster.

Rudi, do you expect Hart to name his 23 man roster on Monday or do you see him taking a few extra bodies to the training camp and Ecador game with a few decsions still to be made. munseahawk
This may not be the best spot for it, but I didn't want to open up a new thread for it. 3 Canadian officials have been called upon for the Gold Cup. 6 time World Cup veteran Héctor Vergara is joined by David Gantar (the guy who carded Tony Tchaini's goal celebration) and Joe Fletcher. I have no info on this, but I doubt they'd call in extra bodies for what is going to be an abbreviated camp. We'll find out Monday.
Blackdude
I have no info on this, but I doubt they'd call in extra bodies for what is going to be an abbreviated camp. We'll find out Monday. They have to call a roster of 23 15 days before the tourney. I sincerly doubt they'll call more than those 23.

loyola
Well, for some reasons Edgar seems to be having a hard time getting a chance no matter which club he's at. But he'll have a chance at the GC so I hope he can make the most of it.
Standard
Well Edgar played for Swansea who are in the Play off final, and it would of been extended but there was some trouble with the paper work meaning it fell through. I really rate him.
