tarnado1555362291
No glaring omissions save for perhaps Gerba and De Jong. I would assume our midfield three will consist of Hutch, Johnson and Pacheco/JBB. Will be interesting to see who starts in central defence. I think Josh Simpson is the only way to go for left mid after the Greece match, guy plays with heart, talent, and a real killer instinct.
Kusch to the Corner
Pretty decent line-up really. I agree, it would have been nice to see De Jong, but aside from him and some of the MLS guys, I think this is about as good as it gets right now. Keano
I have no problem with using Gerba's off-season to instead try out promising youngsters, but I'll be dissapointed if he's not in the Gold Cup squads pretty much on reputation alone. You can't argue with that kind of consistent output, especially for a national team who's perennial galring weakness is finishing.

I am surprised and concerned to see that Ali will not be included in this match. Our biggest problem has been scoring goals and we don't get get our top-performing goal scorer / poacher to try out in the new system? Disapointed in that... On the good side, I am happy to see Kluklowski back, and hope to see him back in his Gold Cup 2009 shape. Beaulieu-Bourgeault, wasn't he the one who played MF for MNT in Montreal against Honduras last time? He did his job out there if it was him. Overall, seems like a solid roster. Think Edgar will start at center Back this time?
tarnado1555362291
Friend will likely get the start with Ricketts off the bench, not too many options at centre forward, Jackson perhaps ?
Soju
Looks about right. Hope Stalteri takes Peters under his wing in the camp but Peters gets the playing time at right back.
loyola
I can't understand why Friend was called ahead of OO, very disapointing. I also can't see why Hart couldn't give a call to Gerba for this one, he wouldn't miss club action for this and he's probably close to game fitness by now. Glad to see Hainault is back. I'm not too sure what I should think of JBB inclusion even if he had a strong game in Kiev. Looks like a decent lineup overall but I would liek to see some things cahnge in regard of calling Friend and Stalteri...

Ivan
The only surprise/disappointment for me is Ian Hume not being included. He has been playing well for PNE and should be there IMHO.

Didn't Hart mention (around the Greece game) that we was toying with moving someone up to striker (I think Simpson?)? Friend will only see 45 minutes. David C.
Omissions scorecard: Injured/recovering: deGuzman, Haber, Bernier?, Issey N-F? Left with MLS teams: deRosario, Dunfield, Jakovic Not in Hart's Plans: Hume Not sure why: deJong Out of Season/Early Training: Gerba Depth option only: Cann, Occean, Uccello, Zaravise Am I missing anyone (or have anything wrong)? gator
I agree, however, I think Hart mentioned (way back) that Hume doesn't fit into the scheme we are playing (or something to that effect). Man, I wish I had a better memory. :-) I guess Hume doesn't fit into Hart's scheme because he's actually playing regular first team football in a decent league and scoring goals! He just wouldn't fit in with all the bench warmers who aren't scoring! Hopefully it's another reason such as PNE's relegation battle which has caused him not to be called because if it isn't Hart is showing his first bit of bad judgement IMHO!
