How do you guys write so much while the match is happening!?

Well, excellent display! Giving equal to what we are getting. Greece can find another gear and I wonder if Canada can also?

My thoughts? Simpson is clearly our best player on the day, but full credit to DeRo. He's been outstanding as well! Can't take that away from him. Jako clearly has his spot locked down, but in equal measure Cann is clearly not the partner for him. Atiba has been his usual self - excellent and assured. For me though the biggest highlights have to be Borjan's first half, and Peters playing very well down the right. Those are two major question marks and both look like proper players.

If Greece realizes all they need to do is play a lot of inter-play in and around Cann we're done for. Keep going lads!!!

"the only place to find Greek strikers is at a labour dispute"

lol I saw that one!

Good first half by our boys. Simpson is our best player so far (but that was a bad YC to take early on in the game, wouldn't like to see that in a WCQ).

Our back 4 scares me a little, they don't seem really organize but so far so good, no goal allowed. Borjan hasn't been tested but looks like a prospect.

I still think we can pot at least one and win this thing. That'd be quite the pre-Gold Cup boost dontcha think.

As for Borjan, he looks positionally ok, a bit of a gongshow on that one cross into the box, and little gongshow on that one Greek foray into the box, but otherwise he's had good distribution and seems to be vocal.

Simpson, Peters, and (oh god) De Rosario might be the best players on the pitch. Borjan's done everything he's been asked, too.

What's wrong with Lars? Anybody know?

I'd take out Straith (good kid, great player, but not his day) for Edgar, and Occean (he looks like he hasn't played against a defense this good in his life and is just way out of his depth) for Tossy Ricketts. The rest of the team is playing pretty well and I'm quite impressed with our display. Yet again!

I wouldn't be so hard on Cann, but Dobson noted multiple times, Edgar's warming up. Can we expect Edgar in the second half?

Okay, brief analysis time.

1) Looking fairly organized out there, in both directions.

2). Hutch not exactly growing into the match yet. Hate seeing him in the reactionary role in front of the back 4 but he's doing well enough so far. (Grow stronger!)

3). Take some serious work getting me back to work after lunch @ .05 or less (as promised) if this keeps up.

4). Simpson has happy feet and is giving the Greeks fits but someone left their scoring boots in the locker room and I think we all know who...

5). A-feard of the fresh legs coming on at the half. Too many subs in these friendlies. I understand why just I hate losing out to the fresh army coming off the bench every-single-match it seems.
