CanadianSoccerFan
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/international/8271294/World-Cup-2022-Fifa-on-the-defensive-over-calendar-changes.html There's a ton of stories out there today about FIFA altering the global calendar beginning in 2015. All international friendlies/qualifiers would happen in November and early December. All world cups and continental championships would be played in January/February. All club seasons would run March to October with zero international breaks. Would this be good or bad for Canada??
masster
Awful. If you think we don't play enough home matches now, imagine if they had to be between November-February. We would never be able to host a major international competition.
alberta white
Intrestingly the head of the Asian confrence is not apparently in favour of Moving the Qatar Tournament from the Usual Summer window. He apparently believes the bid should be executed as awarded. AC stadiums and all

beachesl
Even given Blatter/FIFA stupidity, I do not think this story, a rumour originally printed in the German publication BILD, has much credibility. The ideas in the article just do not make any sense.
