  • Some comments on news posted in this thread are okay, but let's not let this thread go off into a long discussion. If the news already appears in another thread (as per the previous bullet) then post your comments in that other thread, otherwise if you want to say something significant or if it is likely to generate replies then begin a new thread.

Jackson for one, started for Norwich. 0 - 0 at HT against Sheffield.

EDIT: No goal for Jackson, he's subed at minute 75, 2-1 for Norwich, FT.

Also, Middlesbrough 0 - 0 PNE (Hume) at halftime. Hume starts.

EDIT: Hume left the field too at minute 70. 1- 1 the final score.

In League II, Gavin McCallum starts in midfield today for Lincoln City after his great goal last match. Stockport 1 - 2 Lincoln City at HT.

EDIT: 4-3 for Lincoln, McCallum has 1 assist from the 3rd goal.

Middlesbrough 1 -1 Preston, Hume starts and plays 70 minutes.

Sheffield Utd 1 - 2 Norwich, Jackson starts and plays 75 minutes.

It's so strange. If you check out Santa Clara's webpage there is Pacheco, "the captain" being interviewed on TV midweek at a formal press conference, with a video of him in training; he alone got about half of the seven minute news story. Makes it look like he's their Martin Nash - their key player. And then he comes in on min 81 of a 3-2 Santa Clara loss to Trofense, picking up a yellow card in the process.

Could be wrong but I'm pretty sure he was just talking about the shortcomings of their previous outing vs Freamunde and then talking about objectives for today's match:

It just seems odd to have your captain playing such a bit part, and frustrating from a v's point of view in terms of trying to evaluate his performances.
