redhat
Not a great design. Two-tone chevron colours? Too subtle for any effect. I do like the Rose City badge, as well as the Timbers crest (I guess it's okay), but the "Rose City" letters and the Jock tags are unnecessary... Did they pay a professional graphics firm for the design? The guy must have been stoned ...
bettermirror
Well, I like the kits. I am pleased they went with two solid colours rather than a dark and a white. The choice of red/white seems quite odd, to be honest. Considering all the other teams that wear red/white in the league already, and that they will get little use out of the red kit other than when they play Sounders. Talk about a money grab though - 4 different shorts, 3 different jerseys (+3 more if you count long sleeve),
TheKottonmouthed1555362307
Yeah, not the worst kits ever, nothing too special, loving Dynamo's new kits, but I can't say these are the worst of the league. But I agree with Bettemirror, I don't see them using the Red as much, and I just don't see the Timbers as a red team either.

It is the west coast Yea I'm not thinking of timbers as red at all.... ever ..... in any situation ..... no ... just not timbers to me Oh well they can always "shove these minor league colors up their ass"
ted
I like the new kit but the smart-ass Seattle author made a really dumb crack about the Whitecaps and Starbucks. Clearly writing about soccer in Seattle doesn't require enough experience to know or check that Vancouver already has a shirt sponsor.
jojoflow
I like them they are differet than any other MLS team jersey I like the fact that for the green jerseys they can wear white or green shorts I dont think how TFC went to all red its so damn plain I liked how they wear red jersey, white shorts and red socks. I looks like Portland wants to be able change their colours of shorts when thye want and not just have a dark and white jersey for home an away. hectorj
I like them a lot. I prefer them much more than the new Whitecaps jersey. They are true to the past but modern as well.
Emlyn
if they just kept the one shade of green(either one) across the whole shirt instead of the goofy looking two tone, these would EASILY be the best kits in MLS in my opinion.
Emlyn
actually i feel the same way about the new caps jersey as well, if only the stripes went around the whole shirt(back and front) instead of being cut off (at a seemingly random place, it's in some stupid flying V shape or something), I think it would look AMAZING and be the envy of other MLS teams. p.s. what the hell is addidas thinking, nearly all of they're jersey templates look terrible. I guess Nike might be worse though
