Hutchinson starts!

Watching the second half right now. Atiba playing right back and got torched for the NAC 3rd goal. In the first few minutes he's been beaten 3 out of 3 attacks down his flank. Either NAC has a great left winger, or Atiba is out to lunch and his coaches are even moreso for putting him at right back! Sheesh.

NAC 3-2 PSV early in Second.

One game does not a career make. Just like all those nats games where Atiba was invisible in the midfield haven't stopped those advocating him for attacking mid.

Well, he certainly was a nonfactor in the last WCQ. After the Ukraine match I'd be curious to see how he follows up that effort in 2011. I'm also curious to see how PSV will use him come January.

One could argue pretty much everyone was a non-factor due to crap preparation and poor coaching.

I don't like to let the players off so easy for their absolutely terrible performance, lack of pride in the shirt and in some cases disloyal behaviour. A few performed well and deserve credit but most were disappointing including Hutch. I am not sure why he was poor in WCQ but I hope he can continue to show the Ukraine form with some consistency. Whether Hart turns out to be a good or poor coach in WCQ, I certainly hope and expect to see the players give a much better effort than they did the last time.

-Hallelujah...for de Jong. Good news out of Germany, and they win too.

-Uccello again not in the squad - disappointing that the coach may have judged him on his single-digit minutes at the end of matches. He seems so hungry and so focused. Now if Crotone would just give the kid a chance.

-McCallum is on the bench away to his former club. I wonder if he wished he was still there? While Hereford is at the bottom of the table, at least he played a major role each week while there, and Lincoln are only four points above, so it's not like he's traded gutter for glory. Must be a frustrating season for young Gavin.

3-0 Standard leads Lierse at the half, and it could easily be a lot worse than that. Lierse has had a couple good saves and Standard had a goal called back off-side. It's one-way traffic.

Radzinski has looked extremely good when he's had the ball, but that hasn't been real often. This is the first time I've watched him play in a while: the pace is still there and he can get Standard's defense chasing him. Unfortunately, Lierse's midfield is being dominated so Radzinski isn't getting many touches.

Doesn't look good for Peters. Ipswich have signed a new right back on loan (Gianni Zuiverloon) and Roy Keane has basically stated in the press that Peters' run in that position has come to an end.

http://www.twtd.co.uk/news.php?storyid=17448

It seems that Peters has been dropped from the squad entirely, and there is no sign of injury. Oh dear...

Norwich 1 - 0 Ipswich - 17 minutes in

Let's hope Jacko gets off the bench early as this game in televised nationally on BBC One in the UK. I'm sure he's raring to go.

Yeah it's a shame for Peters, and he won't be able to move on loan until January as well. I'm sure we will see Jacko at some point, expecially is Ipswich score to make it 1-1, been a good game so far.

Norwich 2-1 Ipswich half time. Ipswich down to 10 men, hopefully see Jacko in the second half.
