alberta white
This game will revolve around the Card Count if you ask me. As for crowd Involvement don't expect too many AFC fans to show up. Even with the AFC Chairmans rally cry to get behind the team. I think the head of the Independent supporters group summed up a lot of the ill feeling when he stated that "He'd rather take his girlfriends mother Christmas Shopping than put money in the Pockets of the Franchaise" . amacpher
One of AFC's biggest matches of their existence will be played this weekend. If they lose or draw they will be relegated out of League football. And since only 2 teams get relegated/promoted from/to league football it will be very difficult to get promoted back to League football. Now, the good news: a win this weekend guarantees survival since the 2 teams just above them in the table are playing each other, meaning AFC will pass one of them for sure with a win. Also they are at home against Fleetwood Town who have nothing to play for (locked in mid-table). Fleetwood have also lost 3 games in-a-row so perhaps they already began looking ahead to summer vacation.
ted
Their amazing ride up from the depths has been fun to watch. Hope they can pull of the win and keep moving upwards. The day they are promoted higher than Milton Keynes will be a special day for supporters of many different clubs. nolando
Guest Brethers
They drew 2-2 with Gillingham, sit second bottom 1 point back of Barnet going into the final game on Saturday. I'd rather Barnet go down as Wimbledon are a great example for all fan owned clubs. On a side note, any two of Wimbledon, Aldershot and Barnet would be good for me as I'd have an extra two games I can go watch Chester play next season! But come on Wimbledon stay up
amacpher
So just to keep the story-line flowing, AFC beat Fleetwood Town 2-1 with a penalty in the 73rd minute. They remain in League Two for the 2013-14 season.
