It's time to move Whitecaps to the MLS section

Yes, it has been brought up several times. I tried to do it myself but was unable. I've put in a formal request but no action so far, I assume due to all the other imminent changes. Feel free to post Whitecaps in the MLS section though. Everyone know that it's just a formality for now.

I,ll send a PM to socceronly about this because it's clear from what I experienced that we, moderators, can't edit a section name.

I am thinking that too.

so

MLS

NASL/Div 2

Something as minor and inconsequential as the renaming of a forum is getting it's feet dragged through all kinds of meaningless discussion, but a major move like the almost complete re-branding of the Voyageurs and their website gets announced on a Friday with no discussion whatsoever, and by Monday is in place with no input from the membership.

If our input and ownership of this group is valued, then we should be involved in the major decisions.

This is happening now not because things were in secret, it's because I can do them now.

I would guess I talked to at least 20 people about the CSN thing and not one thought it was a bad idea. There are some really good reasons why it wasn't completely public on the forum, but secret it was not.

Is the current set up as separate domains so egregious? It's set up as two different sites in case people haven't noticed that.

They had a thread going about it. I read through it and saw blogs on the side, forum being the home page and everything else pretty much covered off so I didn't comment in the thread but there was a thread going about it.
