Lancashire Post article on Hume

Recommended Posts

"The past week has been one of the longest in Iain Hume’s life. The North End loan star has been in a state of limbo ever since learning of the news last weekend that his parent club Barnsley planned on recalling him.

An earlier deal to keep the striker at Deepdale fell through last week and it appeared Hume was destined to return to Yorkshire – just 42 days into his 93-day loan agreement.

However, much to Hume’s delight, the two clubs have thrashed out a swap deal which will see Hume stay at Preston for the remainder of his loan period and Paul Hayes will go in the opposite direction, also on loan.
