BringBackTheBlizzard
So it was simply a case of Asif Hossain having nothing else to write about with an impending submission deadline looming. Here's my take on Klinsmann arriving: http://canadiansocceropinion.blogspot.com/2010/10/jurgen-klinsmann-at-tfc.html
bgnewf
The Jürgen Klinsmann Era Begins http://viewfromthesouthstands.com/2010/11/klinsmann-signs/ The Jürgen Klinsmann era officially begins at Toronto FC. I take a look at which of two possible competing structural models Klinsmann may suggest to his new employers Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment. Your comments are always welcome. CanadasBest
Interesting quote from the Sportsnet article: "Anselmi, who said he approached the German about the job, said he expects Klinsmann's tenure to finish "some time in the spring."" http://www.sportsnet.ca/soccer/2010/11/03/torontofc_klinsmann/
BringBackTheBlizzard
Has anyone seen a quote attributed to Klinsmann himself in any of the media stories? Bit weird he has so little to say in the press releases, but guess he maybe wants to keep his role low key and behind the scenes, which would be fair enough. foreverthursday
Will he teach them to fall over a tuft of grass or a soft breeze like he did as a player? Then stay down.

paul-collins
Hey Tim And most importantly trying to get a grasp in a few hours of the character of a hugely complex city like Toronto and how that character can be transferred to how Toronto FC is structured and how it plays the game is almost an exercise in futility that wastes time How do you suppose the character of the city TFC represents will present itself to Klinsmann in the off season?
