Trident
Really? I seem to remember Montreal being the most canadian in 08... I guess I imagined that title.

I find it interesting that both Montreal and Vancouver had a lower rate of Canadians during V's Cup relative to their NASL schedule. TFC had a greater rep. during the V's Cup, which i think can be attributed to playing younger, less established players against "inferior" competition. Is the reverse true then for the NASL clubs? Were they playing more foreigners during the V's Cup in hopes of beating a "superior" opponent?
MegasAlexandros1555362277
^^^ I don't think that's correct. If anything, I think it might just mean that more of the front-line players for Montreal and Vancouver are Canadian as opposed to Toronto where they have a greater number of fringe players who are Canadian. Of course, it's more complex than just that. As the blogger himself explains, the arrival of certain Canadian players to the Montreal and Vancouver squads later in the season, after the Voyageurs cup was played, clearly also affected the statistics.
