Seattle at Houston - Heads Up

Appreciated the heads up, Ed, as I managed to catch parts of the match.

Onstad was on the bench and perhaps his sun has set. Hainault started and looked like the Hainault I remember - nothing spectacular but getting his job done, if slowly, clearing his lines and playing okay (as opposed to great) balls forward from RB. Still, he too might be ahead Stalteri at RB, no?

Serioux got into the game, filling in at CB in the 66th minute. He still has some game left although he is a little slower and a little clumsier than I remember him being the last go around with TFC. Like a Pozniak, he can play a number of different positions and might be tempting as a depth player for Caps or Portland. Or maybe not - he is 31 and a little injury-prone.

Hainault looks good as an RB when he can close the space down but I'm not comfortable with him having to deal with one on one speed on the flank, so I wonder how he did against Zakuani today (did he get a lot of support out there today?). I think Serioux's heading into the sunset, but you never know.
