Peters starts for Ipswich Town , 2-1 in the 74th minute for Coventry City, no word on Peters otherwise so far.

Edit: Subbed out in the 73rd and provided the assist for the Ipswich goal at 57:35. 2-1 at FT.

-------------------

Two days old, but not sure if anyone posted this yet:

David Edgar could be loaned out...again.

http://www.givemefootball.com/championship/clarets-boss-weighs-up-who-will-be-loan-rangers

Edgar [burnley] starts on the bench for the Sheff Utd - Burnley match, and is subbed on at 66. Score is 3-3 at full time.

---------------------------------------------------------------

Gavin McCallum [Lincoln City] starts on the bench for Shrewsbury-Lincoln City and is subbed on at 68. Shrewsbury won 2-0.

---------------------------------------------------------------

It appears Newport County's Martin John did not feature in the Crawley Town - Newport County match, which ended in a 2-3 win for Newport.

---------------------------------------------------------------

Simeon Jackson [Norwich City] goes the full 90 on the road as Norwich City frustratingly draw QPR 0-0.

----------------------------------------------------------------

Iain Hume played the full 90 for Preston in a 3-0 defeat to Derby. [Props to Darlotech from the RPB boards for this...completely forgot Hume.]

Turkish First Division

Besiktas 1 - 2 Manisaspor (after 60 minutes)

Manisaspor is being dominated by Besiktas but still managed to lead 2 - 1 in the second half. Simpson has very little ball possession, as well as the rest of his teammates but everytime he touches the ball he's very useful to the team. I'm pleased with his performance today. The second goal was the product of a free kick after a great individual play from Simpson. This is maybe the best moment of his career now.

If they pull this out, i have to post the [turkish] news article on my friend's wall...he's a huge Besiktas supporter and from Istanbul. :D

Last weekend I was talking up Josh Simpson to him...haha.

Is he playing down the right side as it shows on flashscore?

He played on the left side. I stopped watching after 85 minutes. Manisaspor was leading 3 - 1. My livestreaming was really poor so I'm not sure if Simpson assisted on third goal. From the position of the pass, I assume the pass was made by one of the 2 strikers.

EDIT: Manisaspor won 3 - 1. I'll post a link to watch the highlights as soon as I find one.

Sorry about that, my source was Manisaspor official web site and I don't understand at all Turkish letters, althought I saw 3 and 1 in the article.

Here are the highlights, Simpson assisted the first goal with a beautiful pass. Then the second goal became from a free kick were Simpson were fouled previously.

Doesn't seem to be getting much for minutes at his club.

Au contraire. He has started 5 out of 8 games, with two goals to his name already. His side Veendam play away to Dordrecht tomorrow. I wish some of our starters were getting this kind of PT and strike rate, even if it is a second division. He might be a candidate for a B camp, perhaps in January?

Huh, I went through the last two match reports and didn't see his name mentioned. Granted they're at least two weeks old.

I doubt it. January camps are for players who play in Summer leagues. He could get a look in March.

Turkish Super League

Galatasaray 2-4 Anakargücü

Klukowski plays 90 picks up a yellow on 72'

Good weekend for our Canadians in Turkey with Simpson's team knocking off Besiktas and Kluka's team beating Galatasaray. Tomorrow Fenerbahce plays Konyaspor but can rest easy as no Canadians play on Konyaspor! :)
