BringBackTheBlizzard
Great interview. Hope reactions on here won't revolve around the way he said "a certain section of the fanbase that to me is more of an entourage". Thought his comments about TFC and MLSE were spot on but he pulls his punches a bit where the CSA is concerned probably because as a member of the CSA old boys network he isn't quite as willing to be brutally frank in that context because he is closer to the subject matter, while in a TFC context he's more of an outsider looking in. He obviously reads this subforum as he mentions at the very end the recent Bill Spiers post about the regulation the CSA could use where MLS is concerned on domestic content despite Victor Montagliani's misleading posturing about not being able to do anything about it (as became clear on a subsequent It's Called Football podcast Montagliani was clearly primarily interested in pushing a pet agenda where forming a domestic national league controlled by the CSA is concerned although the interview ends before that angle could be pursued as the next obvious follow-up question).
