Royal select U18 F start defending their U16 club title in St-John's at Sony Cup

Number on offense in the country, with 112 goals scored in 18 games, Royal Select U18F does expect tougher competition this year as opponent teams are more aware of their offensive capabilities compared to last year when it was their first appearance in national championships. A win for a second year in a row would certainly be good for the promotion of offensive, ball control based soccer, in women's soccer in the country. The team will successively compete against Manitoba, Nova Scotia, BC and PEI before meeting the team that will have ended at the same position in the other pool on monday.
