El Hombre
Another reminder for everyone: This thread is only for reporting news of player movement. It is not for discussion of player movement. If you want to do that, do it in another thread. All Daniel Haber talk has been moved to the NCAA Prospects thread.

Toje
The 18-year old Canadian (born in Moscow) on trial at Kladno (3rd tier Czech side, former 1st tier) is Šarapov. I don't know his first name though. He played the second half in a winter training friendly yesterday and apparently showed good speed, movement and scored the 2nd goal. The coach of Kladno said that he had a chance of sticking around after the initial 2-week trial. http://kladensky.denik.cz/fotbal_region/prvni-letosnim-strelcem-byl-zamilovany-rada-20130112.html
Esco0428
Anthony Osorio, Lucas Scorzafave, and Jerome Smith look like they officially with the academy at Nacional de Montevideo. Lucas Cavallini's little brother - Cristian - did not make the cut. As per Cristian Cavallini's twitter (@ccavs10) "@JSmiiiiith @aosorioo @LucasScorzafave do work my brothers, be careful. Love you all" Here's hoping Nick Dasovic keeps tabs on these kids for the upcoming Concacaf U20 tourney.

They actually help players on to the next level. On the other hand, it makes it that much more embarrassing for the rest of the youth clubs in Canada when compared with one club that has sent 8 players to Uruguay and had 6 stick in one form or another. The vast majority of clubs in this country do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to help provide opportunities for players to move on to the next level after their youth career is over. I was confused by the tweet at first and thought he was back training/trialling with the Impact and they were playing a friendly in Finland. Obinna
Jaime Peters on trial with Vancouver. FINALLY I have been waiting for that guy to try and make an MLS move. It is crazy he is still only in his mid 20's. Would love to see him sign on and make his way back in the CMNT pool.

Keegan
Does that mean that the other Canadian RB is unlikely to stick, I wonder? I think they'll try Peters as a replacement for Dane Richards on the wing.
SCF08
Does anyone know if Andrew Ornoch has found a new club yet? I remember that he was on trial at Telstar in December (After being 13 months out with injuries) but left for Canada after training with them for a week or so. He also started a football academy in Toronto. http://www.dutchconnectionsfc.com/home.html

Grizzly
Jordan Santiago is no longer at Veendam. His contract ran out and was not renewed which is pretty disappointing since he was the starting keeper at the end of the fall season after Veendam's first keeper got injured. He is keeping in shape by training at West Ham according to his Twitter. http://www.betshoot.com/72255-Eindhoven-vs-Veendam-betting-tips
ditty
Calgary Foothills and York University product Charlie Trafford has signed with De Graafschap in the Netherlands. He's 20 and played in the CSL this summer as before completing his 2nd year at York. He's a former member of the Whitecaps PDL team and won U-18 club nationals with Calgary Foothills. VPjr
Chris Suta (formerly of Windsor Stars and Milltown FC) announced that he has signed a professional contract with SSV Jahn Regensburg of Bundesliga2. nolando
SINGAPORE - Sherif El-Masri has left Young Lions: http://sleague.com/news-features/news/2013/january/aide-seeks-patience-for-new-look-young-lions "Canadian winger Sherif El-Masri and the French duo of Sirina Camara and Jonathan Toto – have been released to leave Aide with an all-local playing setup." Young Lions is a de facto Singapore U23 side with foreigners included only when they are expected to naturalise after four years of residency. I wonder if he balked based on pressure to play for Singapore, as he was just in the Canadian set-up last year. - Former Whitecap prospect Jerome Baker is at Hougang United: http://www.sleague.com/news-features/news/2013/january/pre-season-friendlies-cheetahs-hit-for-three-at-larkin "The attacking trio of Eziakor, Shotton and Fazli came off, with new Canadian winger Jerome Baker, Basit Abdul Hamid and Shameer Aziq coming in to provide some fresh impetus." - Jordan Webb has switched clubs from Hougang to Home United: http://www.sleague.com/news-features/news/2013/january/lee-declares-protectors-60-percent-ready- "The game saw the Protectors squander an early lead to go 1-2 behind in the first half, only to draw level through new signing Jordan Webb barely two minutes before the interval."
