shawn_strat
Watching the live stream (I'm in South Carolina), Billy is starting as a forward? WTF???
jonovision
First half ends at 2-0 Montreal. Most impressive players were Simon Gatti and Reda Agourram. Ali Gerba looks like he's not quite yet on the same page as his teammates, but he sure dominates the 1-on-1 (and 1-on-2) battles at this level. shawn_strat
Finally, a nice and easy win. Great to see Ribeiro score.
jonovision
Radio-Canada/Philippe Germain should be commended for throwing in a plug for the Honduras friendly in Montreal.
Keano
Not only did St. Louis' away kits look house league, they played like it too. Nice to see Charles and Ribeiro both have solid first starts. Billy continues to be great. Gerba still mistimes his runs and his passing was atrocious, however he ran down the keeper twice, almost got onto a couple of dangerous balls in and showed a lot of second effort. Jeremy
Very satisfying, especially Ribeiro's and Agourram's goal
shawn_strat
If Gerba keeps defenders busy, it frees up the other forwards. Either way, it's good for the team. The team needs a win against Vancouver, because a win against St.Louis barely counts.
Seb of Mtl
this was an encouraging result but next wednesday is the big test. Ali gerba looks great in my opinion and he is a ticking time bomb by the time the playoffs come around, i think the impact will be gang busters.
