tmcmurph
"But his father knows which team he wants Sergio to play for when the time comes: “I think Canada will be his home team,” he insists. “He's 100 per cent a Canadian soccer player; this is where he learned the game. Only his blood is Colombian.”" I like his dad a lot and I haven't even met him yet. Need more dads like that in Canada, a lot more!
Free kick
Thats is a good piece. Worth noting: the private investment of nearly 1 Million dollars into development infrastructures is the biggest in histrory as far as soccer in this country. Image that we will soon have three of those.
Macksam
I will get really excited when one of these teams produces a soccer equivalent to Mario Lemieux, who was the best athlete ever.

Image that we will soon have three of those. Vancouver already spends roughly that amount and have more teams (Prospects, Residency and PDL) then TFC. It's the Impact that have a bit of catching up to do, but even they now have an "Academy" instead of a "Reserve" team.
