England

-Peters played the first half in a 6-0 friendly victory for Ipswich over Histon: http://www.twtd.co.uk/news.php?storyid=16704

-Haber was with the squad but didn't play in a 3-0 WBA victory over Kidderminster: http://www.wba.co.uk/page/News/0,,10366~2088950,00.html (Hopefully he gets a season-long loan somewhere decent where he has a chance to play and yet have to push hard for his position)

-Edgar started the second half as a holding mid and finished the match as a RB as Burnley beat Bury 3-0: http://www.thefootballnetwork.net/boards/read/s37.htm?38,11708513,11708787 (Foreshadowing of another season of position swapping and long stretches on the bench?)

Switzerland

-Imhof's St. Gallen lost to Lugano 3-1.

Finland

-Monsalve surely has lost his spot for the moment as his Inter Turku won 2-0 over Honka with him on the bench for the second match in a row.

After 3.5 years in England and 2.5 years with Sunderland AFC, Michal Misiewicz decided to don’t extend his contract with Black Cats. On July 9, 2010 Misiewicz signed 3 year contract with Polish side, Polonia Bytom. The club is playing in Polish Ekstraklasa. Here is link to Club’s website and short interview with Misiewicz.

Interesting move. Did a little research and their starting keeper from last year was on loan from Legia Warsaw and has returned to that club. They have 3 other keepers none of whom have very impressive resumes. May be a good chance for Michal to earn a starting spot.
