Jun 19 -Derek Gaudet and Ross Smith revenged the June 17th loss to Minnesota 2-0. The Portland players each played 90 minutes while Arango didn't see the pitch for Minnesota. Wow - that was a quick turnover for a home-and-away. Were both league games? If so, I believe those were Gaudet's first league minutes of the season and certainly his first full match. Mozzi Gyorio subbed in at 65 minutes and assisted on the Rowdies only goal. -Tyler Rosenlund and Ian Bennett both started for the Rochester Rhinos in their squad's 3-0 win over the Pittsburgh Riverhounds of USL-2. Tyler Rosenlund went 90 and scored a brace. Ian Bennett played 75 minutes. -Andres Arango played 90 minutes for NSC Minnesota Stars in their 1-0 loss to AC St Louis. Allison A Posted June 24, 2010 Share Posted June 24, 2010 I'm surprised you missed this one: Jun 22 -Derek Gaudet and Ross Smith both started for the Portland Timbers in their Open Cup match at Kitsap, and both played 90 minutes, but even better, Ross Smith SCORED the first goal of the match on a header in the 34th minute in a 4-1 Timbers win. For the Rowdies, Mozzi Gyorio subbed on in the 77th minute. For the Timbers, Ross Smith and Derek Gaudet started both started. Greg Sutton played the whole game in goal for New York. For Harrisburg: Dominic Oppong (1986) was an 80th minute sub and Vince Petrasso (1987) subbed on in the 65th minute. Tomer Chencinski (1984) stayed on the bench for the whole match. -The Charleston Battery (USL2) and Chicago Fire went to penalty kicks after regulation ended 0-0 with the Battery escaping with the victory. Pierre Rudolph-Mayard (1988) played the entire match at RM for Charleston. -The Columbus Crew defeated the Rochester Rhinos 2-1. Tyler Rosenlund featured for Rochester and apparently had a few chances early on. -The Houston Dynamo won 1-0 over Miami FC. Adrian Serioux started and played the entire match. -Chivas USA defeated the Austin Aztex 1-0. Ante Jazic started and played the whole match.
