yomurphy1
Does Edgar have work ethic and attitude problems because in the games that I have seen him play this year he was Burnley's most solid defender?
Guest Ed
Here's his chance finally to play regularily. I hope he runs with it as he is potentially going to be a key player for our mens' team.
loyola
Good move for Edgar! Hope he can get some much needed PT in the CCC.
El Hombre
Does Edgar have work ethic and attitude problems because in the games that I have seen him play this year he was Burnley's most solid defender? I don't think it's attitude or work ethic. I think its more that he's just on the cusp of the first team and with a few choice injuries he could get some regular playing time and show what he can do. He's never really had that chance. Either way, Swansea is a good move. They're a decent bet for promotion this year.

Oranje
Good on him!!! Hopefully he can get playing time and maybe get a complete transfer rather than a loan as Swansea City and Burnley are going in two different directions...
Bertuzzi44
He is on the bench today against Blackpool. Swansea get throttled 5-1! Pretty safe to say Edgar will see the starting XI next game!
trueviking
great news for edgar...if he couldnt make the worst defence in the league even after injury problems set in he was never going to get a sniff.....hopefully he gets cast adrift from the sinking ship burnley. saturday's match against peters and ipswich. BearcatSA
I was hoping such a loan deal would have happened last year while he was nailed to the pine for most of his final season at Newcastle. I'm hoping he'll get a string of starts so we can see what he can do as a regular starter. I hope he makes the most of this opportunity.

maccaliam
Word of a possible swap deal involving Edgar. http://www.clarets-mad.co.uk/news/tmnw/clarets_looking_at_williams_511515/index.shtml Sounds of it some Burley fans are rueing the loss of Edgar to the CHampionship side. Can't say I agree with the idea he has been brilliant in all of his performances for the Clarets this season, but I don't think many people can argue he deserved more of a chance than he had been given with them. http://boards.footymad.net/forum.php?tno=508&fid=522&sty=2&act=1&mid=2122299797
tovan1
I'm hoping he finally gets a chance to play regular first team football. Would be a good move for him with Burnley doing so poorly and Swansea playing well in the CCC with a chance at cracking the Premiership next year. Sam
Still don't understand why he wasn't given more of a chance at Burnley, he played well every time I saw him there. Either way the move to Swansea is a good one, and its great to see him named MotM in his debut at the club.
