DJT
Guidelines for this thread In this thread post match updates on all Canadians abroad for March 12-18, 2010. If you find updates posted in some other thread or on the other Voyageurs forum then post them here as well, but be sure to credit the original poster. If there is news that is particularly significant (eg. someone scores a big goal, someone gets injured, etc.) then feel free to begin a new thread on that topic in order to draw greater attention or start a discussion, but also post that news here. Some comments on news posted in this thread are okay, but let's not let this thread go off into a long discussion. If the news already appears in another thread (as per the previous bullet) then post your comments in that other thread, otherwise if you want to say something significant or if it is likely to generate replies then begin a new thread. ag futbol
Sorry if this was already posted somewhere. Edson Edward seems to have a decent shot of making FCD. Although these pre-season things are always a crap shoot. http://web.mlsnet.com/news/team_news.jsp?ymd=20100226&content_id=8186848&vkey=news_fcd&fext=.jsp&team=t104

masster
In League One, Haber is on the bench for Exeter City who plays against Bristol Rovers. The score is 0 - 0 after 45 minutes. I went to Exeter to watch this game. Haber did not get on until the 87th minute. The score was still 0-0 at the time. A ball was chipped in over the top to him and he tried to take it down on his chest as he ran into the area. His touch pushed the ball a bit too far away from his body and the defender knocked it out for a corner. Exeter scored on the corner kick for the 1-0 win. Besides that, Haber did well to steal a ball of a defender on one occassion. Later, when he received the ball on the wing in time added on, he should have dribbled into the corner to kill of the game especially with a 1-0 lead but he tried to cross into the box and it was blocked thus turning the ball over to Rovers. Besides that, hard to rate his performance based on a handful of minutes.
