Another minor setback for VFC

Is it me or does it seem like we can't catch a break. " research, research, research, GREEN LIGHT, research, research, research......BUMP, research, research, research, GREEN LIGHT...but uh no...wait....study, study, study, study....research, research....GREE......DENIED!!!!!!!

Things haven't gone well? A half-billion on BC Place and a 30,000 seat temporary stadium with private boxes? There isn't a city in the country spending coin like that.

It's so deeply offensive on so many levels, it really can't talked about.

It's just too depressing.

This is the key point... the Whitecaps are only secondary to the weight of the BC Lions as well IMO. If you take the Waterfront and now the Delta situation the Whitecaps don't really have anything to call their own. It's not from a lack of effort, it just seems that there's one patchwork solution after another. That being said I agree that BC Place will be a decent patch...

Right now they're second to the Lions, but Gridiron has basically peaked in Canada, there's no more growth to be found. Soccer is an untapped market which will exceed that of gridiron...at least of the Canadian type...

Even in Saskatchewan with their infamous Riders Nation?
