Razcle
Vitti out is not a suprise to me, however I wonder if they tried at all to renegotiate his contract based on his performance. Fellinga is a huge mystery to me. I barely saw the lad play and have no idea whether this is a smart move or may come back and bite us in the ass when he signs elsewhere. Sooooo who is coming in to fill the shoes? Amado's will be big, we will need some more creative players with these departures.
michaeltfc91
Cutting Vitti is a terrible terrible mistake. With Guevara gone and grass coming I thought Vitti would play that attacking midfielder role and do really well. Bad News.
BringBackTheBlizzard
De Rosario and De Guzman were clearly signed to eventually replace the aging Guevara and Robinson as the spine of the team in midfield with Cronin and Sanyang as inexpensive cover, in my opinion. Last season that meant a temporary over-abundance of central midfielders. I suspect the number Vitti would be on if his loan deal turned permanent was probably too high given he was originally brought in to score goals and that he would have needed to have been stellar in a winger role rather than as a central midfielder to be seen as an asset moving forward in midfield on that basis. kcisoul
YES great news, too bad we could not get something for Guevara though. Either way your right BringBackTheBlizzard we do not need more central mids. Now we can use that money to get a solid winger and explore a CB or Forward. How long is Gerba's contract for? I think if he does not come into training season next year in shape TFC needs to ship him off.
finchster
Gerba should get 5-10 games max to turn it around otherwise ship him out. Pablo Vitti is no loss at all, have fun back in Argentina. Guevara is a little disappointing because he is so talented, however he would often disappear for long stretches and it would seem like he didn’t even play. I am a little disappointed about Fellinga being cut, I thought he could provide some cover at left back because I would much rather have Brennan playing on the left in mid field than at the back. AvroArrow
I think the main problem with Vitti was that he'd give you a brief taste of his skill and then proceed to disappear for the rest of the match.

I suspect 2010 will be guaranteed unfortunately with an option year in 2011 but these details seldom get disclosed.
