jpg75
For anyone looking for a result for Josh Simpson this weekend, don't bother as the match was never played. It appears that Ankaraspor, which was to be their opponent, was demoted for reasons relating to anti-competition as they had illegal links to their crosstown rivals Ankaragucu. I'm guessing the season had already started when the ruling was handed down so now they are forfeiting the entire schedule. http://ca.sports.yahoo.com/soccer/news?slug=reu-europeturkeyankaraspor&prov=reuters&type=lgns http://www.soccervista.com/Ankaraspor-Manisaspor-337084-337084.html
Guest Ed
Hastings' Hamilton Accies apparently in a tunnel dust-up with Hearts after Hearts drop 3 points with 9 men. Scottish FA investigating.
VPjr
^ for some reason I watched the 2nd half of that match. Poorly refereed. Very harsh straight red handed to a Hearts player and then things got even more chippy. not surprising there was an altercation in the tunnel. JamboAl
Agreed and should have been a penalty at the end (but I may be severely biased there). Apparantly all hell broke loose after the match between Suso and one of the Hamilton unused subs; the referee sent off two further Jambos, the Hamilton player and the Hamilton masseur (didn't know the Accies could afford one). Don't know if Hastings was further involved directly but he seems to be the type to get stuck in if required.
