The only trouble is considering the game was never officially announced, you may never officially know the score to collect your winnings. Life will be so much easier when we all have our own satellites to geoposition...

Canadian women will face nr 5 ranked Sweden, in Malmö March 31.

In the Swedish release, coach Thomas Dennerby says:

"It will be a good measurement for us, Canada had a big preparation prior to the World Cup in Germany where they had a big disappointment. No they are reset and focused on the Olympics with many good players in place."

Just a follow-up thought to the March 31 match-up vs. Sweden: This is likely a good chance for Swedish clubs to scout Canadian pros and likewise a good chance for the Canadian women to get a pro-contract in the Damallsvenska.

With WPS now dormant, leagues in Germany and Sweden are likely quite appealing. The Swedish league often has 6-month 'Artist' contracts with players, for immigration & tax reasons. An April - October type contract wouldn't be out of the question if a player shows well against in the friendly against Sweden.

Never know.
