And Ian Bridge...

There is also a link to a story and pic of the Canadian team arriving farther down the homepage.

Our Brazil game is on a channel called "bandsports" and I just found and watched two different sites streaming it live in 2 minutes of searching. The other two are on a channel called "band" not sure what that is yet.

I searched on 'watch bandsports live' in Portuguese:

http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&q=assistir+bandsports+ao+vivo

The first was working for me but is now IP filtering me, but the second link looks really stable and has a basketball game on now:

http://www.canaistv.com.br/assistir-BandSports-ao-vivo

You have to close three ads on the player when it loads then are ok.

I thought it was always at 19:45 local time, 16:45 Est. and therefore 13:45 Pacific.

Actually here is the schedule from the tournament's website: (Sao Paulo is at GMT - 3) so 3 hours ahead vs EST.

Is there any chance of Women's home friendlies outside Toronto in the lead up to the World Cup

I just asked the CSA. I doubt I'll get an answer, but if I do...

I suspect they'll try and set something up before they go over, but it would be limited to the USA and Mexico really (maybe an Asian side might be convinced to stop on the way over)...

Is there any truth in the rumor that National team players who would not (or could not) leave their NCAA College teams to participate in camps have had their funding cut off and are not longer considered candidates for the National team? Would Christine Sinclair have skipped a NCAA Championship Tournament to participate in a training camp or would she have been even asked? Is the present coach aware of the pressure that these young women are under?

I've not seen or heard that the WC camps dates and locations have been established. Hence I don't think CM is going to do anything until she knows how much money is in the budget for her camps before the WC and how that money shapes her plans.

Cutting AAP to a player due to NCAA duties or in some cases pro duties would be a tough one for the CSA to explain to Sports Canada if the action is not covered under the current player contracts/agreements. If there was a CBA like the US programs situations like this won't even be rumored on.

Will the coach of the National team use the Cyprus Cup to tinker with the lineup or will she stick with what she considers the best 11 and let them develop as a real team? Can we agree that anything less than a top two finish would not be a good omen for the World Cup?

I believe that gives us two windows for send-off home games for our women. One in early April and one in mid-May.

There is at least one other period in June because the Germans have a couple of games scheduled against Norway. No surprise though because they're very similar to Canada and will help the Germans prepare for us a week later in Berlin. The Americans play their last tune-up June 5th.

Great eye Jonny. If the Swedes have it right it will be our third trip to Rome in a little over half a year. It will be interesting to see who gets released and how close to 100% both teams can get. Did you get a chance to watch the Sweden/Norway game last Fall in Falkenberg? It was a pretty impressive level of play.

Going back to Rome in the Spring closes one of the two windows for a home friendly. If the FIFA Women's Match Calendar of last Fall is still accurate the only other opportunity is May 14-19.

Thanks again for passing the info on.
