This deserves its own topic.

My initial reaction is one of concern for JDG's career and skill development as a player. MLS is not La Liga, but at the same time, if he can (hopefully) tear this league up and raise the profile of the team a la DeRo, it's a good move.

I have no idea how he will be employed in the starting 11, but I can assume they will play him as more of an attacking-minded midfielder, perhaps at the top of a diamond-shaped midfield.

Is it me or, at 28, are worries of his skill development a little late? I mean, players don't really improve skills after 28... let alone deteriorate. Other than fitness wise.
