Will the club and/or the fans pay tribute to Dichio? Or...will Julian have an immediate impact? He's out of game shape (although the rumour was he was training in Germany). If he's to find his game and gel with his mates, can the team stave off elimination and gather those needed points? I'm afraid we will be expecting too much from him in too little time. Dichio will be honoured. Why wouldn't he?
VPjr
If Julian isn't introduced tomorrow, I seriously doubt he plays on Saturday, which only makes Danny's forced retirement (before having the chance to play 1 last game in front of the home crowd) all the more dispicable in my opinion. if they let Danny play on saturday, i would not be upset. but the way this might go down (with no JDG in the TFC lineup on Saturday) leaves a very bad taste in my mouth. By the way, i think playing Julian on Saturday, when he hasn't played a competitive match in almoat 6-7 weeks (since the end of Gold Cup) would be incredibly irresponsible of TFC front office. Could you imagine if a non-match fit JDG goes and gets injured in his first game? Could you imagine if the injury is blamed on the crappy turf? Playing Julian on Saturday would the act of a very desperate manager. Desperate is the word I hear being used to describe Mo's mental state right now. He wants this contract issue resolved right away. what are the betting odds on Mo's contract extension getting announced on the same day as Julian's signing. squizz1402635577
^ The way you spell it all out, it seems pretty likely we'll be getting no Dichio and no JDG. Great, the worst of both worlds.

jpg75
So Julian is being presented as the DP as we speak... BTW, Serioux and Sanyang are suspended for this match due to their RC's from last match.

jpg75
TFC leading 1-0 at HT. DeRo scores his 10th MLS goal of the season. Looked like Barrett was going for the Wynne cross and instead DeRo stepped in in front of him (thank god!), cushioned it with his first touch and powered it inside the far post. Ya just know Barrett would have frigged up that play if DeRo hadn't gotten there first...
canucklefan
Good to see TFC win again, but Colorado 2nd goal is a good example of how much TFC defense sucks. With a defense like this, TFC must score 3 goals per game in order to win their 5 remaining games and qualify to the playoffs.
Richard
Now that was more like it but Colorado's second goal really should not have happened, terrible defensive lapse by TFC. Quality of play not much improved but certainly more intensity on the field today which was good to see. Barrett needs to be traded though. CBC's HD picture quality was much better than the last game thank goodness.
jpg75
With the win TFC have improved their chances of making the playoffs to 49.7% according to SCS. There are some important matches tonight in MLS: DC - SEA RSL - CHI LA - DAL
Tuscan
That game was a yawner until White got the go-ahead. All of a sudden TFC decided to start playing (as did Colorado, some scary moments there). I would expect to see the same intensity in LA next weekend as they showed after that goal, especially if JDG makes his debut. Good result, nonetheless. Gian-Luca
Bit of a weird game, in a crucial win for Toronto. TFC good in the first half but a brutal goal let in by Frei early in the 2nd seemed to un-nerve the team and they were woeful for the next 20 minutes or so until that White goal. Robinson seemed to re-injure his ankle in the warm-ups which prevented him from starting, which was a stroke of luck for TFC as far as I'm concerned (even with Guevara clearly looking tired the whole game and being a defensive liability - though he did put in a good corner for the 3rd goal). Nice to see Nana get the winner and MOTM (maybe the first time all season I have agreed with whoever makes that call). After this game's performance the midfielder most likely to lose his spot to make room for Julian would have to be Pablo "Let me slow the attack down" Vitti. jonovision
Jason de Vos was gushing about Nana during the match, and I can't say I disagree with him. He's either going to be one of the best in MLS for years to come, or he'll get a serious look in Europe. Either way, good for him, and good for Toronto FC for finally letting him play this year. loyola
Just saw the highlights, did Frei lost that ball in the sun. If that wasn't the case there's no excuse for not going after that ball. All 3 TFC goals were well taken!

He did make some excellent saves after that to make up for it, but that was just poor judgment on his part on the first goal. On the second, I'm not sure what Garcia was doing and Fellinga (who otherwise looked good) was asleep on the play.
michaeltfc91
Extremely happy for Nana Attakora. Without a doubt our top defender and a future team Canada player. He's done really well this season and got rewarded. What a great header. De Rosario also played great with that goal and assist to White. Also hit the post and had that great trick pass. Vitti and Barrett were pretty bad and uneffective Great job by Stefan Frei[xx(].... terrible on that first goal
tmcmurph
Saw the game on CBC so I'll be boosting their ratings Frei saved TFC's butt several times. The goalie did what he was paid to do and the offence did the part they are supposed to. Both Ali and Armado just about put in a nice heal flick. Dero, what can I say. Best signing they've ever done. He just keeps delivering like he always has. Using White in the sub role seemed to work a lot better than using Gerba in that role. Nice touch on the loft shot over the goalie and nice move to spring free. Defence still has lapses but you got the 3 points and that is vital. 5 games to go and that is 15 points for the grabbing. Take all 15 and you are in the playoffs. Good luck and I can't wait to see JDG out there.
BearcatSA
For a guy who was getting written off a couple of weeks ago and running on fumes after international duty and a late flight Guevara had a solid performance out there today, moving the ball well and was unlucky not to get the final good touch after that interplay with Chad "Serena Williams" Barrett. DeRo (quality performance) and the Honduran really are the offensive heartbeat of this team. If DeGuzman's fitness allows him to make a quick impact, than anything can happen down the stretch. Congrats to Attakora on his first goal. This guy is a quality, shut down defender. I'm not convinced about his ball playing skills, but his quickness/agility, strength, and leap are pretty impressive whatever way you look at it. It may not be long before he starts making a lot more money, though I'm not sure it's going to be at TFC.
