jpg75
I don't want to come across as a dick, but can we please setup a thread for each of the bloggers and have them deposit their latest work inside that dedicated thread? There are times when you look at the MLS forum and there are a half dozen threads with no replies because they're threads where someone posted their newest article. If you post your newest article in the dedicated thread it will bump it up to the top of the page, which i think is a pretty reasonable in helping you promote your work. squizz1402635577
Or... people could actually respond to the issue at hand, rather than getting stuck up on the fact that the original post includes a link to an external site. I mean, I don't see any other threads about Dichio's retirement, why not discuss it here? I'll give it a shot! It seems clear from the circumstances that Dichio's hand was forced a bit when it comes to this decision. There's no other explanation for why a guy would retire six games before his already-announced retirement date. And while it would have been very nice for the BMO Field faithful to serenade Danny on the pitch one last time, the fact that he made this move to help the short- and long-term success of the club (by freeing up cap space for the JdG signing) will truly cement him as the team's first enduring legend (which he was already anyway). VPjr
I wonder if Danny will be the highest paid coach on the club next season to make up for the money he forfeits by retiring early this year. I hear Mo is insisting that this was not a salary dump. Danny REALLY wanted to retire without a chance to say a proper goodbye to the fans. Mo = snake oil salesman. It does seem forced. I agree.

michaeltfc91
The way the club handled Dichio this last couple months is terrible. It is obvious this was a 'forced' retirement. They didn't let us know Saturday would be his last game. What a terrible way to end off his career. At least let him start the home game next week for a proper goodbye. 6 games to go why would he want to retire?!
Keano
The only match I've ever attended at BMO was the season ending game where Dichio tied it 2-2 in extra time with a no-look looper, a world class strike. I'll always remember that play.
earlimus
You can't trust a guy who doesn't have a soul. No offence to any gingers out there.
