tmcmurph
Going to need him because Jeff Parke will be leaving to explore other opportunities as per his contract.
canadianfoot
why doesn't he just sign a firm 2yrs contract instead of coming back whenever his career isin't going too well in Europe. By siging 2yrs at least he can bond with the team & maybe get the V's cup to Vancouver.
bettermirror
Pozzer should just settle for this set-up. He'll be a squad player when they join MLS, and if he plays well enough he can be a starter in the current regime.
Mr.Impact
Even though he's been playing professionally since 1999, Chris is still young at 28. This is a solid pick up for Couver City.
canadianfoot
Solid but maybe temporary. I can only imagine if he gets any offer from a 1 or 2Div EU league he will leave. Last year was the same. On the other hand like I have said play for 2years bond with the guys and you will have a spot for MLS. I just wonder if the Whitecaps will keep TT around. All I hope is they don't get a second rated UK coach. But I think that Kerfoot knows better than us, so I will shutup
tmcmurph
Can't blame the guy for dreaming big. We have a few of those come and go. Parke being the most recent. If you are in USL1 and can get a solid player for any length of time you take it. In the mean time you keep developing talent and constantly scout for more affordable help. I think they brought Teitur Thordarson in with an idea that he would be their man to play out the last 3 seasons in USL1 and then move to MLS with him and the team he would have had time to build. He is called the Icelandic tactician for a reason. He really knows his stuff and has made great improvements to the Caps. He gets results while playing a very attractive form of soccer. No lock & key Lillyball.

I would have to go through a long list of players before I got to Chris Pozniak.

Guest Jeffery S.
quote:Originally posted by Richard Solid at the back but not outstanding. Come on Richard, don't you think the back line was weak? I did not have the sense that we were being held together by two experienced pros with solid European experience. I would much rather have a young player in there with some desire and intensity than the Pozniak and Reda that played the other day. Hope to come say hi to you at a game Richard, would be nice to meet you.
Richard
Hail me from the barrier next game, will come over and say hi, or ask somebody to dig me out of the media tent before the game. As for Poz, my comments were about him, not the whole back line. The team was a disaster though, played like a youth team!
snake
the caps are consistently inconsistent this season.

Richard, you should know from my posting that I can't hail anyone from the barrier, it is beneath me [}] Will do though, maybe this weekend, maybe the one after. On that first goal I think it was Reda who was looking like a guy participating in an underwater tai chi class as the Charleston player blew past him. Guess we'll see if these two guys can pick it up a few notches in the coming weeks.
