DJT
Guidelines for this thread [*]In this thread post match updates on all Canadians abroad for July 24-30, 2009. [*]If you find updates posted in some other thread or on the other Voyageurs forum then post them here as well, but be sure to credit the original poster. [*]If there is news that is particularly significant (eg. someone scores a big goal, someone gets injured, etc.) then feel free to begin a new thread on that topic in order to draw greater attention or start a discussion, but also post that news here. [*]Some comments on news posted in this thread are okay, but let's not let this thread go off into a long discussion. If the news already appears in another thread (as per the previous bullet) then post your comments in that other thread, otherwise if you want to say something significant or if it is likely to generate replies then begin a new thread. jpg75
^ Wasn't even dressed. I think the reason he dressed in the first game of the season was due to injury. Appears to be the 7th/8th midfielder on the club. BTW, there was a free preview of TV Chile in the GTA the past few weeks which is why i wrote what i did. Unfortunately the preview is now over... JoeSoccerFan
I think it is worthwhile mentioning the Canadian performances in the not-so-abroad TFC-Columbus match. DeRo goes 90 with his seventh goal of the season - a new club record for goals in a season only 19 games in! Something tells me he will be the club leader in all offensive categories when his career is done, or maybe by next season. Gerba goes 87 mins and scores his first career MLS goal in his first match. Brennan and Serious both go 90. O'Brian White on in the 79th minute.
El Hombre
Peters played 90 in a 2-1 loss to Charlton yesterday. His pace caused Charlton a number of problems. Hume also played a full 90 (!) in a 2-0 win over Hull City, setting up the first goal and almost scoring on a header.
