Free kick
Kind of shows what happens when you do well as a team at an international tourament. From the Belgian league to Milan. Playing the the WC finals or even in Confed cup really gets you exposure. I have to admit, I was impressed with his play at the recent Confed cup. But what this tell you is that even clubs like Milan dont know everything about talent out there unless its exposed on a stage. Good example for Canada is Atiba. This guy needs exposure badly. Guest Ed
The guy who came out of nowhere though was DeMerit. I was of the opinion, some 2 games into the tournament, that the backline of Spector, DeMerit, Onyewu and Bocanegara would be their downfall. Loud Mouth Soup
The Gooch or Titus Bramble? You decide.

bettermirror
Gooch won't touch Milan grass. he's a free transfer if I am not mistaken, and simply added as size and cover in the event Milan face an opponent with a Jancker-type striker. Or maybe added to battle Ibrahimovic in size?
JamesW
^That picture makes me feel a whole heck better. I've been caught in the exact same pose, with the ball flying behind me. Awful time to have your picture taken.

bettermirror
^Because he is cheap and they need a DF - he'll sell shirts too.
Gordon
I am not too optimisitic about "Gooch" seeing much of the pitch either, but he at least has the chance to compete for time at a major international club which is a feather in his cap either way. It will be a sunny day for me if and when a Canuck earns the same opportunity.
