Sébastien
Anyone know where we could be able to view the GC in Ottawa?
El Hombre
There was talk of watching it at the Georgetown (Bank and Sunnyside area). There's a 50% chance of me making it out.
Sébastien
Thanks! Will try to make it then!

JamboAl
I'd like to make it out tomorrow night as well but am also 50-50 at this point. Will try and be there for Tuesday night since I can't make it to Columbus.
Sébastien
Well, it's official for me, I'll be there. Even bringing the girlfriend over! Might get there just on time though, or maybe even a little bit late depending on when her bus gets here and when we can catch an OC Transpo bus over. grigorio
georgetown is a very accomodating footie pub, but i'm sure you can watch it anywhere... it's a friday night, the game's on sportsnet, and theres nothing on tonight aside from a jays game maybe... Kurt-MTL
Georgetown's always a good option. Heart and Crown is usually pretty good too. Still, the weather might keep a few folks who would normally turn up for this type of game, at home.
Sébastien
Yeah, finally changed plans to go to the Heart and Crown.
TFCRegina
Georgetown is the place to go. We usually all go there from the TFC crowd.
peachgrinder
JamboAl, I'm hoping to get out on Tuesday for at least part of the match. Could you bring the scarf?

CanadianSwede
Going to the Georgetown tonight and from my experience it is better than the Heart and Crown because we get a room pretty much to ourselves (most of the time). Hope to see you all tonight.
El Hombre
Damn, doesn't look like I'm going to be able to make it out to any of these opening round games. To make up for it, I'll be sure to buy all Vees present a drink next game I get out to.
clobban
Just moved to Ottawa, used to watch the Arsenal matches at the Georgetown, so I'm assuming this is the best place to catch the match tonight?

TFCRegina
I will be at the Heart and Crown on Preston for this one. Going to Sam Roberts after...
ChrisB
Georgetown on Saturday afternoon? or Heart and Crown (Preston or Market)?
grigorio
PUB 101 in the market was actually very accomodating to watch the Canada-CRC match. They've got a bunch of nice tv's, all the satellite channels, and best of all pints for $3.75 every day!! A fellow even asked to watch the El Salvador-Jamaica game afterwards and the bartender put on GolTV for him. I would highly recommend it over Heart & Crown which in my opinion is overpriced and not even a sports bar!
